Roywoods Review

I am a Caribbean baby, and a foodie. So, believe me when I say Roywoods is a Caribbean food imposter. "Home of the Jerk" takes on a new mean after one sampling of what they call jerk chicken. What kind of jerks make this food? The jerk chicken, BBQ chicken, and fried chicken, are flavoured very strangely. The rice and peas does not have the REQUIRED coconut cream paste in it, and the coleslaw does not have the REQUIRED creamy/sweet taste. There is no love in this food. No Caribbean family would ever dine here as a unit. Of course, for anyone else this place seems like the cat's meow. Just look at the reviews. Oh, these poor deprived people. All the really good, mouth-watering, Caribbean food places are unfortunately in Scarborough.
