Some pizzas arrive looking like the toppings were applied with tweezers by someone working under strict budget supervision. Thankfully, North of Brooklyn Pizzeria doesn’t appear to employ that person!

We ordered their 18-inch Sausage & Fennel Pizza through Uber Eats, and this was one seriously delicious pizza! From the first bite, the freshness of the ingredients was unmistakable. The sausage was generously distributed across the pizza, with plenty of savoury flavour, while the fennel added a wonderful aromatic sweetness that complemented the meat beautifully. The combination worked very well, especially with the noticeable kick from the spices.

North of Brooklyn deserves credit for understanding that customers ordering a sausage and fennel pizza would appreciate finding sausage and fennel on more than three slices! The tomato sauce was vibrant and flavourful, the cheese complemented the other ingredients without overpowering them, and the crust had that lovely rustic appearance with beautifully charred edges.
