Randy's Roti and Doubles Review

Randy's is a Trinidadian restaurant. As a Trini I can attest to Randy's making the best "salt fish and bake" I've ever tasted. They also make a very good "doubles" out side of Trinidad. I'm not too keen on their oxtail and jerk chicken, although they're ok if you're starving. Jamaican restaurants usually do better with those dishes (haven't really found a resto in Toronto that puts a lot of love in those dishes anyway), but Randy's can't surpass them. I haven't tried their roti, but I'll update this post when I do. NOTE: if getting take-out, always check your order before you leave. Randy's has a habit of forgetting things that you have ordered (and may or not charge you for) and you won't know until you get home. This has happened several times.
