I was impressed by Atlas Dental’s professionalism and the efficiency with which they handled my visit. Normally, I have a go-to dentist whom I trust implicitly; however, her expertise does not extend to Invisalign or retainers, which was precisely what I needed.

The task at hand was to get new night retainers, a follow-up necessity from my Invisalign treatment years back and my current dental work. Traditionally, this process is somewhat dreaded, involving a dental visit where the dentist creates a negative oral mold using trays filled with a sticky mold material that is, frankly, unpleasant to taste. I was bracing myself for this very ordeal.

To my surprise and relief, securing an appointment at Atlas Dental was a breeze, with availability as soon as the next day after my call. Dr. Nguy, a general dentist at the clinic, was who I consulted. Instead of the expected molding process, he utilized an “Intra oral scanner” for the task. This modern marvel took a mere 25 minutes to scan every tooth in my mouth, a stark contrast to the traditional method I was dreading.

Even more impressive was the turnaround time for my Essix clear plastic retainers. In just a week, they were ready for pickup, a timeframe that far exceeded my expectations. The fitting session confirmed their perfect fit, and I’ve found them to be comfortable for overnight use, functioning exactly as intended. The pricing was competitive, aligning well with what one might expect in the market.

For those in a pinch needing to replace their retainers swiftly, Dr. Nguy at Atlas Dental, with his adept use of modern dental technology and commendable speed, is the place I’d recommend without hesitation.
