Pom Pom Review
Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

Visited for dinner on Wednesday May 13th 2026.
Pom Pom on the 10th floor of the Hotel Indigo is a nice looking modern restaurant with great panoramic views of Grand Cayman and an especially beautiful sunset view if you time it right. The atmosphere is definitely the main attraction here.
It's a great spot to have an overpriced but ultimately unmemorable drink while soaking in the scenery. Wednesday nights are apparently about steak and wine. Unfortunately the medium rare sliced picanha steak we ordered was shockingly chewy and full of sinewy bits holding it together. Honestly it was suspiciously like pressed beef rather than an actual freshly cooked and sliced picanha cut.
When asked how the meal was we had to be honest, it was unforgivingly chewy. After a brief explanation from staff about why it shouldn't have been that bad, one of the steak meals was removed from the bill which was appreciated.
The potatoes however were very good. Crispy on the outside soft inside and probably the best thing on the plate. The red wine? Forgettable.
Overall go for the view, the atmosphere and maybe a cocktail before sunset. But skip the picanha steak unless chewing through sinew is part of your dinner plans.
