Jacks Beach Bar Review
537 West Bay Rd, Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

Visited Tuesday afternoon, August 25, 2026.
We visited Jack's Beach Bar on Seven Mile Beach and had a fantastic lunch. The restaurant sits right on the beach with a large, open-air layout, plenty of comfortable seating, and a great bar area. Even during the afternoon cruise ship rush, there was lots of room and the atmosphere was relaxed.
I ordered the Shrimp Boil (CI$19) with seasoned shrimp, corn on the cob, baby potatoes, smoked sausage, garlic butter, and Cajun spices. This was excellent. I've been to Louisiana and eaten Cajun food there, and the seasoning on this shrimp boil was dead on. The shrimp were delicious, and the sausage, potatoes, and corn were covered in that rich garlic butter and Cajun seasoning. The portion was also very generous, especially for CI$19 on Seven Mile Beach.
My girlfriend ordered the Birria Tacos (CI$16) with braised beef, pepper jack cheese, fresh jalapeño, red onions, and consommé for dipping. The beef was soft, tender, well seasoned, and the tacos were stuffed with meat and very filling. The consommé was full of flavor and made the tacos even better.
One of the highlights was meeting Calico Jack from the former Calico Jacks on Seven Mile Beach. He had a great personality and was friendly and helpful, especially considering how busy the restaurant became during the Tuesday afternoon cruise ship rush. He took the time to interact with us and many of the patrons, and that kind of personal attention made our visit even more memorable.
Delicious food, good-sized portions, beachfront seating, a fun atmosphere, and friendly service. That Shrimp Boil was one of the best things I've eaten during this trip to Grand Cayman.
