Cactus Club Cafe Review

It was a Tuesday night in May of 2016, and a live DJ was in full form spinning the most recent hip-hop. And wow what a sound system they have on the 3rd floor, roof top! The ambiance was very nice up there. Now, the important part - the food. The ceviche was a bit too tart from the vinegar, but the chips cut the tartness nicely. The butternut squash ravioli with prawns was amazingly delicious. Sweet n saucy (from the truffle butter) are the operative words. The sablefish main was also stellar in taste. It tasted very much like Black Cod, and that Peking Duck broth poured over at the last minute was a nice added touch. A couple of Negroni drinks didn’t hurt, and the velvet underground dessert rounded out the evening
