Residence Inn by Marriott Regina Review

We are periodic long term guests of the hotel.

The good: kitchenette, good size rooms (with the double beds) linen service when requested is great. Little exercise gym is open 24/7. On-site laundry facilities is super convenient and affordable (bring cash. and they will change it to loonies). Close to airport, and Mosaic stadium. 10 minutes from downtown Regina.

The bad: Garburator is broken in our room (handy when it worked). Heating and hot water is spotty on very cold days. King size beds are absolutely terrible and sink in the middle. Children running up and down the hallway all day long, and barefoot and half naked from swimming pool area. Weekend crowd making a mess of stairwells with beer cans and spraying the walls. Room cleaning staff slamming doors of each room they clean and waking us up early morning when we are trying to sleep after our night shift.

Only one friendly person at the desk. That was Paige, and she left. So now t90% of the people at the desk seem like you are bothering them when you walk in and say ‘hi” even.
