Queen's Wharf Lighthouse Review

651 Fleet St, Toronto, ON · King West & Entertainment District

2/5 Not Recommended

A light house just north of the Lakeshore that is no longer in use for anything. The TTC tracks loop around this lighthouse, and while making their tight turns make the most horrific screeching sounds metal against metal can make. So to try to alleviate this, special TTC workers every couple of days show up and lob buckets of grease around the tracks. Someone got it in their head to also put two unsightly blue outhouses next to the Queen's Wharf Lighthouse for the use of TTC workers as well. Added to the unsightliness are a barrage of TTC worker's cars parked on the unused portion of tracks near the lighthouse. The overall effect is a mini-ghetto of gunk, and objects that don't belong there. It would make the Queen proud to see the area, I'm sure.
