Pfaff BMW Review
4505 Dixie Rd, Mississauga, ON
UPDATE: Nov 2024
A Journey Back to Excellence – Mostly
I’ve been loyal to Pfaff BMW for four years, having purchased and thoroughly enjoyed my 2020 M340i. I consistently returned for service, and when it was time for an upgrade, I chose to stay with Pfaff. After finalizing the sale of my 2020 M340i, I returned on November 15, 2024, to pick up my new 2025 M340i. The process should have been straightforward.
Let’s start with the good. The 2025 M340i is everything I’d hoped for and more – fully loaded, unlike my 2020 version, and an absolute joy to drive. Kartik, my sales advisor, was good throughout most of the process, up until the day of the pickup. Courteous and communicative, he kept me updated by text on the new car until it was time to trade in my 2020. They offered a fair value for my trade-in, which softened the cost of the new one.
Now for the not-so-good: the day of the pickup, about 10 days after the initial sale. What should have been a smooth exchange dragged out into a more than four-hour ordeal. The issue? A mislabeling mishap with my all-season tires, which they store for me, delayed the process unnecessarily because they couldn’t locate them. Kartik had called me that morning to ask if I could come in later in the day, but I made it clear that waiting due to a dealership tire logistics issue wasn’t an option. I had planned my day around picking up the car, so delaying further wasn’t feasible. If things were not going to happen on that day, they shouldn’t have scheduled me to come in on that day. I would have been fine waiting an additional week if everything with the new car wasn’t ready.
Instead, I unwittingly ended up waiting hours for the tires to arrive. During this, they made an effort to keep me occupied by showing me the new features of the 2025, but it was clear I was still waiting. Once the tires were sorted, I had to wait again for my current license plates to be installed and the final handover of the keys. This kind of delay wasn’t what I expected from a dealership with Pfaff’s reputation. To their credit, they offered us a shawarma lunch or a lesser loaner car for a lunch run. I chose to have Kartik bring us the shawarma lunch.
Despite leaving the dealership slightly drained, I’m happy to forgive them for this one-off hiccup. Over the past 15 years, I’ve visited several BMW dealerships, and Pfaff has consistently set the standard for the last four. Even the best stumble occasionally.
Would I recommend Pfaff BMW? Absolutely. Just make sure to double-check everything before committing to going in for a big-ticket item like picking up your brand-new Bimmer. And if you’re upgrading to the 2025 BMW M340i, prepare to fall in love all over again with a car that redefines driving pleasure. Four stars for Pfaff BMW this time, and five for the car.

Update June 2022:
Took my BMW m340i in for two recall item work to be done. Having drove the car to the Saskachewan and back we also wanted to do the recall servicing post trip. PFAFF did the recall services in one day, and gave me a 2022 X3 as a overnight loaner. PFAFF topped up the fluid levels, checked and adjusted the tire pressure, AND removed a key scratched area of my car done by a jealous degenerate (cursed and damned to hell). They did all of the above at no cost. Free. Thank you PFAFF for doing what you do. Literally the best BMW dealers I’ve dealt with since driving BMW’s in the last 16 years.
