MGM Grand Review
3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, United States
Went here in May of 2016. The lobby of MGM Grand is massive, but straight forward. There is no confusion about where to go especially with the very long line-up. Everything moved along efficiently.
Initially we spent one night in the old hotel room that we got as part of the hotel and airfare deal from Expedia. We didn't like the old part of the hotel. It felt like a dorm room and had air vents in the side tables that would blow noxious air in your face all night long. The curtains also had strange stains on them. We went to the front desk the next morning and told them of our discontent and they allowed us to be put up on a higher floor in the main glass building. We had a view of the airport and our room was clean and much more to our liking. All of that for only an extra two ten dollar USD/night.
The best part of the MGM was the nightclub Hakkasan is part of it. It's a walk to get to from the main building, but you've got to go to this multilevel complex!!! Tiesto was playing techno house on the top floor, and the R&B was bumping on the lower levels. The place was packed, the people were friendly and about having a good time.
