Lanterra Developments Ltd Review

Perhaps one should really scrutinize the warranties the builder gives on some of the stuff they're putting in our homes before plunking down their hard earned cash. For example, here at 215 Fort York Blvd, our condo has had some problems with shoddy workmanship that should be covered under the Lanterra/Neptune customer care, but are not. Our shower door is a prime example. We moved in to this brand new condo March. 2011, the shower door started leaking in Nov 2011 and now Lanterra/Neptune tells us that we are out of the 1 yr warranty when we complained about it Dec 2011. After 8 months of use the door fails and we are out of our 1yr warranty? We are not pleased at all.

We would like the shower door fixed at no cost. The water continues to leak even after the shower door is closed, and the paint is starting to pucker as though there is now water damage to the walls. It is unacceptable in a brand new building.

UPDATE: They fixed the above mentioned complaint, but other nonsense regarding the workmanship in the unit and the building is ongoing.
