CN Tower Review

The view from the observation deck is amazing. You can see the waterfront and the city. However, during Canada Day weekend the wait in the line-up to buy tickets (or present online tickets) was 20 minutes. Then the line-up to get in the elevator traveling up was 90 minutes! THAT'S AND HOUR AND A HALF OF YOUR LIFE THAT YOU WILL NEVER GET BACK. We spent about an hour doing as much as you can on the observation deck, then spent another 30 minutes lining up to go back down in the elevator.

To reduce all the wait time, go during the school year early in the morning. Just after Labour Day is perfect. As well, if you must go during the summer, on weekends, or later in the day or evening, book a table at the 360 restaurant and the elevator ride will be quick. The food is not that good and it's over priced, but you will avoid the long line up for the journey up and the observation deck is included in the cost.
